I am so excited to share with you that the long awaited podcast, Boldly Bald Women: How to Survive and Thrive in a Hair Obsessed World is now live and available on iTunes and Stitcher.
Many of you have asked what you can do to help get the word out about this very unique podcast, and now’s the time to pull together and make it happen.
The goal is to get our podcast into the New and Noteworthy category. This is a place where new and interesting podcasts are showcased for the first eight weeks after the initial launch date. It is a huge deal to be included in that category because hundreds of thousands of eyes will see it. That will give us the opportunity to expose the podcast to a broad base of people. Who knows who among them will be, or know, or love someone struggling with female hair loss. Please help me reach as many as possible. Here’s how:
1. Subscribe to the podcast – Boldly Bald Women: How to Survive and Thrive in a Hair Obsessed World. It’s free.
2. Download the episodes to your computer to listen to and share.
3. Leave a star rating and a review with comments as to your thoughts on the value of the podcast.
4. Post the link to the podcast in your facebook/Linked in pages, online communities and groups. Tweet and re-tweet frequently.
Let’s send this throughout the world and create a viral breeze of comfort and hope to all those who struggle with the emotional and social impacts of hair loss.
I have published three episodes in order to give people a taste of what the podcast will be like. An introduction, an interview with Deeann Callis Graham about the inspiration and process of creating her newly published book called Head On, Stories of Alopecia, and an interview with Melanie Moyer, founder of www.HerHairHelp.com and co-administrator of the facebook group Alopecia Areata.
Thank you, one and all, so very much.
